Discipleship means making disciples!
We believe that the distinguishing characteristic of those who live in God’s Kingdom is Christ-likeness.
Discipleship is the primary ministry of the local church which facilitates the development of God’s people.
Love for others displayed in ministering to the poor, reaching out to people who are spiritually lost, serving others, practicing forgiveness, and the like are all signs of the presence of God’s Kingdom and ministry of the Holy Spirit.
Those with genuine faith are known by the fruit of their lives and their pattern of faithfulness to Jesus and His commandments.
Thus, the local church becomes a counter-culture community, whose members live Christ-centered lives.
The mission of Adult Ministries is to prepare, challenge, and inspire women and men to a life of Christian discipleship. It is our desire and mission that every adult become a full and fulfilled disciple of Jesus Christ – disciples who make disciples. Which means that each person will have a passion for Christian service (Ephesians 4:12-16), whether it is across the street or around the globe.
WINGS
All ladies are invited to join WINGS (Women IN God’s Service). They typically meet in the Fireside Room at church, but occasionally they go on outings to visit our FCC shut-ins, to volunteer at the Kokomo Rescue Mission, or do a little shopping. Visit the Events page for the upcoming meetings.
EVERY MAN’S BATTLE
Every Man’s Battle: the challenge every man faces…the fight every man can win
The group (18 years & older) is for those who wish to support each other to live a Biblically pure sexual life (lust, temptation, pornography).
It is for those who have fallen in the past, those who want to remain strong today, and all who want to overcome temptation in the future.

MEN’S BREAKFAST
All men are invited to join the FCC men for breakfast at Choo Choo McGoo’s on Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. This is an opportunity for a few guys to fellowship and demonstrate christian values. There are currently 12 – 16 men enjoying this activity. Come and relax with your fellow christian men and enjoy a good breakfast.
THURSDAY LADIES BIBLE STUDY
All ladies are invited for Bible study, coffee, and prayer on Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the Fireside Room.
MEN’S GOLF
Each spring twenty or so men at FCC join in a Tuesday evening golf league at Chippendale Golf Course. This to is a great opportunity to have a good time playing golf with other Christian men. If you are interested, contact Don Hill at 765.432.3062
Also, there is an annual fund raiser at Woodburn Christian Childrens Home located east of Fort Wayne. Several men from FCC participate in this outing. It is an inspirational and rewarding day, along with a great lunch. Click here for more information on the tournament.
