INTRODUCTION TO ONLINE GIVING
An opportunity for giving online is being provided here at Fairfield. Online giving is a simple way to prioritize and expedite your personal plan for giving. Giving is a vital part of spiritual formation and maturity.
Giving is an active expression of our faith. It recognizes God as our True Provider. It affirms our confidence in His ability to supply all we need and is an act of gratitude and dependence. It allows us to partner with God and His work through our church and in the world.
Giving requires the highest standard of personal integrity and discipline. In 2 Corinthians 8:9, the Bible teaches that we are to give willingly, generously, and cheerfully. In Malachi 3:10, we learn God’s standard of the tithe, or first tenth, being set apart in all of our earnings as a gift to God. Through our tithes and offerings, we prove to be faithful in the stewardship of all God has provided for us.

2. At the bottom of the screen, follow the instructions shown “Add App to Home Screen.”

What is online giving?
Online giving is a method of giving using an automatic transfer program that allows you to make contributions without the hassle of writing checks.
What payment methods can I use when giving online?
You can use a credit card, debit card, or eCheck (direct transfer from your checking account).
Can I use my Smart Phone for making donations?
You can use your computer, Smart Phone, or iPad type devices. See the Instructions section above.
Additionally, using your Smart Phone, you can scan the QR code to go directly to your login page. This code can be found on the weekly program.
When is the my contribution charged to my checking account or charge card? Transactions usually take 2-3 business days.
Can I donate to various funds in the church?
At this time you can donate to General Fund, Missions, and/or Food Pantry. If additional options are necessary, they can be added.
How often will the amount be deducted from my account?
That’s up to you. You can make a one-time donation or set up recurring donations for a period of if time that you determine.
Why do people use credit cards for tithing?
Many individuals use credit cards for all expenditures to help with record keeping, or to gain bonus awards. Credit card debt can be a great temptation. We encourage you to be good stewards of your financial resources. By providing the convenience of online giving, we are not encouraging credit card debt.
Will I incur any extra fees for using my credit card?
No, your credit card bill or bank statement will reflect exactly what you donated on-line.
Can anyone at the church see my account information?
There is no change in the security and privacy of your information here at FCC. There is
only one person who maintains the individual giving records.
Can I see and print my giving history?
Yes, simply login to your “Online Giving” account at any time to review and/or print your giving history.
